Through its corporate volunteering program, The SOLution, SOLitude Lake Management, an industry leader in lake and pond management and related environmental services for the United States, named Becky Snyder, Client Services Regional Administrator, as Volunteer of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2016.
In the first quarter alone, Becky participated in 15 volunteering events and spent 50 hours volunteering in her community. Her passion for volunteering was sparked at a young age when she became a member of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, a non-profit organization that strives to give girls the tools, training, and encouragement to let their individual spirits shine bright. For an impressive 19 years, Becky has served as an adult advisor and mentor, teaching girls and young women valuable leadership skills that will continue to open doors for each of them through college and their careers.
As volunteer team captain for SOLitude’s New England region, Becky has coordinated two team volunteering events with the Worcester County Food Bank, started a supply drive for the Worcester Animal Rescue League, created an office fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and scheduled an Earth Day cleanup on the Blackstone River.
“Becky is a valued member of the SOLitude family and we admire her commitment to helping young women in her community achieve their goals,” said Tracy Fleming, Director of Marketing. “We’re fortunate to have someone as passionate and dedicated as Becky leading the volunteer efforts for our New England team.”
