Algal Blooms No Longer Disrupt Our Summer

We have worked with SOLitude for many years. They apply a copper sulfate treatment to the shoreline algae blooms that show up in our lake in mid- to late June on an annual basis. The results have been outstanding every year. The algae blooms are gone, and the water is crystal clear for the 4th of July and beyond.

Navigated Challenging Wetland Permitting Process

SOLitude has been working with our lake for the past three years trying to get the necessary permits to treat our weeds. We have constantly run into roadblocks with the DEC in getting a wetland permit for the wetlands at the south end of our lake. Finally, with their help, we are getting the wetland permit and should be able to start treating our lake.
