HOLiday Cheer Program Supports Deserving Children and Families
This month, SOLitude is rounding out another year of volunteering with the 10th annual HOLiday Cheer program. This program was created through the company’s corporate volunteering and community outreach program, The SOLution.
Since 2012, colleagues across the country have teamed up to collect toys, clothes, toiletries, and other necessities for local children’s hospitals and through the Toys for Tots and Salvation Army’s national Angel Tree programs. Over the last decade, SOLitude has donated more than $68,000 through HOLiday Cheer initiatives.
Helping Children Have A Happy Holiday Season
This month, SOLitude reached 45+ children between 18 months – 14 years with $2,700 worth of gifts. These included educational toys, dolls, remote control cars, scooters, and clothes.
SOLitude also contributed approximately 300 toys worth $3,500 to 5 children’s hospitals in the areas we serve:
- UCSF Benioff Hospital for Children (CA)
- Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida
- Children’s Hospital of the Kings and Daughters (VA)
- Shriners Hospital for Children (MA)
- Shriners Hospital for Children of (MO)
