Kirk McDannell
Project Manager, Aquatic Specialist
Kirk McDannell is a Project Manager and Aquatic Specialist at SOLitude servicing the lakes, ponds, and fountains of many clients across the Mid-Atlantic. As a Project Manager, Kirk works with clients to develop treatment plans with a special interest in fountain services, buffer treatments and nuisance vegetation management. He enjoys helping clients understand the benefits of a maintenance plan for their waterbodies and turning their plans into a reality through thorough and personalized treatments.
Prior to joining SOLitude, Kirk studied at the University of Delaware before spending nearly two decades in customer relations, service and construction industries. He continues to build on his industry expertise through continuing education seminars with AquaMaster Fountains and Aerators, SePRO Corporation and AirMax. In addition to being a licensed aquatic pesticide applicator in many states, Kirk holds several certifications, including a safety certification through the BoatUS Foundation.
Kirk grew up in a rural area near Gettysburg, PA, where he first found a love for the outdoors splashing around in the creeks and exploring nature in the woods by his home. Outside of work, he enjoys camping, biking, boating and golfing.

John Phelps
Senior Business Development Consultant, Environmental Scientist (PA, DE, MD)
John Phelps is an Environmental Scientist and Senior Business Development Consultant with over a decade of experience in freshwater resource management. He helps ensure communities, municipalities, and private landowners are armed with the knowledge and resources to identify their lake and pond management concerns and consider their long-term goals for the property. John specializes in creating custom management plans that prioritize the health and beauty of these aquatic ecosystems. Throughout his extensive career, John has worked on many diverse and complex projects involving water quality restoration, stormwater compliance, wetland mitigation, mosquito control, and other service areas at local, state, and federal levels. John earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Planning from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He regularly presents to HOA communities and property managers about the sustainable aquatic solutions available to them.

Kirsten Driscoll
District Support Specialist
Kirsten is a District Support Specialists for the Mid-Atlantic region. She assists our operations team with client communications and works with customers to ensure their requests are being met and questions are being answered. She has been in a customer support-facing role for over 15 years.
In her spare time, Kirsten enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with loved ones and her dog.
