Jeremy_Haley_web2_2016.jpgJeremy Haley is a Fisheries and Wildlife Biologist with nearly a decade of extensive water quality, fisheries and wildlife experience. He focuses on managing lakes and ponds for algae and other nuisance and invasive vegetation, and specializes in design and management of quality fisheries.

Jeremy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries & Wildlife Sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia. While in Missouri, during his higher education, Jeremy worked with the Missouri Department of Conservation identifying macroinvertabrates from benthic lake samples, sampling sections of Missouri streams for fish and habitat data, studying and sampling flathead catfish and transplanting aquatic vegetation to benefit lakes. While with the US Geological Survey, he collected silver and bighead carp for processing, imaging and aging.

After college, Jeremy moved to California where he worked for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service monitoring juvenile Chinook salmon outmigration and Green sturgeon spawning grounds and outmigration.

After traveling abroad, Jeremy moved back to Missouri to work for a leading lake and pond management company in the Midwest, where he gained further experience servicing lakes, ponds, fountains and aeration systems. Much of his focus centered around managing lakes and ponds for algae and other nuisance and invasive aquatic vegetation, as well as quality fisheries management. All of these experiences, combined with a passion for the outdoors and aquatic environments, have ultimately led Jeremy to join the SOLitude team.

Jeremy is currently a licensed aquatic pesticide applicator in Virginia, Tennessee and Missouri as well as an AquaMaster trained service technician and a SePRO Preferred Applicator.

In his free time you will rarely find Jeremy at home. He is constantly pursuing his love of the outdoors, traveling and simply exploring unknown experiences.
