Director of Marketing and Communications
Tracy has a true passion for marketing communications and is responsible for the marketing strategy and execution of the company's brand image, website, search engine optimization and inbound marketing, lead generation, social media, advertising, public relations and community outreach initiatives.
Tracy is a native of South Jersey and returned back to her home state after spending her early career in Norfolk, VA. Tracy started in advertising in 2002 and held key roles as advertising production manager, marketing director and special publications manager for a prominent Virginia-based media company. She was the director of sales and marketing for a high-end printing firm in Norfolk and most recently held a marketing communications and sales support role for an international fleet management company in the Philadelphia area. Tracy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a marketing concentration from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.
Tracy spends her free time traveling, visiting beaches and wineries, hiking the red rocks in Sedona, and enjoying various outdoor activities with her husband and young daughters. She stays active through kickboxing, Pilates reformer, and walks with her puggle. Tracy is an avid sports fan and enjoys watching football and Philly sports teams with her family and friends.
Marketing Team Leader
Matt Serino is the Marketing Team Leader at SOLitude, and has over a decade of professional marketing experience. As part of the marketing team at SOLitude, he supports overall marketing strategy, advertising, branding and communications. Matt is also responsible for the graphic design needs of the company and is focused on delivering powerful and lasting impressions through print and web.
Matt graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA in 2006, and earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing and a minor in art. After college, he held an internship in the creative department of a prominent advertising agency in Virginia Beach. Matt then spent six years as Marketing Manager for the Hermitage Museum & Gardens, a non-profit arts organization in Norfolk, where he gained valuable experience in advertising, media buying, social media and email marketing, public relations and website maintenance. Before joining SOLitude in 2016, he was a member of the marketing department at Sentara Healthcare and promoted medical group practices, physicians and services throughout Virginia and Northeast North Carolina. Matt’s knowledge and experience in marketing, coupled with his creative skillset, enables him to develop strategic and innovative ideas to continuously enhance the SOLitude brand.
Matt is a native of Virginia Beach and lives at the Oceanfront with his wife, Thalia, his son, Cullen, and their labradoodle, Zoey. He loves spending time in and around the ocean, whether that’s riding his bike down the boardwalk, reading on the beach, swimming or surfing. Matt also enjoys snowboarding, hiking and camping and is always looking for an excuse to go on a road trip. He’s a huge fan of both baseball and live music, and travels the country to see his favorite teams and bands play.
Digital Marketing Specialist
Ysabella Bhagroo, Digital Marketing Specialist, joined the SOLitude marketing team in January 2019. She specializes in the production of video content and leads our video marketing strategy for increased exposure and searchability. She also manages our Video Ambassador program and SOL Studios brand. Additionally, Bella focuses on digital and print media design, search engine optimization (SEO) and Google Ads campaigns.
Bella earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences Communications and a Bachelor of Arts degree in East Asian Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She gained valuable experience in media content creation, communications and technology in various roles, including Lead Video Producer, at the university’s Life Sciences department. Prior to joining SOLitude, Bella served as a Human Rights Advocacy Public Diplomacy Intern with the United States Department of State Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor.
Bella is originally from Anoka, MN (the Halloween Capital of the World) and is the oldest of 5 children. Bella’s interest in freshwater and wetland ecosystems stems from her childhood when she often traveled to a lake in Minnesota on fishing trips with her dad. In her spare time, Bella enjoys nature photography, playing strategy board games, writing fantasy, staying active, and traveling—her favorite city so far is Prague, but she’s also lived in Tokyo and Hokkaido. Bella comes from a mixed background of Puerto Rican and East Indian culture, so she loves dressing up in traditional clothing and making delicious foreign cuisines. Likewise, she’s been practicing karate for 17 years and earned her black belt in 2007.
Madison Miller is a Marketing Coordinator at SOLitude Lake Management, and works out of the company’s Virginia Beach, VA office. Madison is responsible for all administrative tasks related to marketing such as organizing files, tracking advertising and public relations efforts, managing contacts, and shipping tradeshow materials. She also assists the marketing team with lead generation, inbound marketing tactics, social media and online strategy, communications and public relations.
Madison graduated from Longwood University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a concentration in Public Relations and Organizational Communications. At college, she held executive leadership roles in her honor society and sorority. Madison held an internship at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art as their Public Relations and Marketing Intern, and was later brought on as a full-time employee for the remainder of the summer. Her attention to detail and work ethic make her an excellent addition to the team.
Madison was born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, concerts, and hanging out with her friends and family. She is always looking for an adventure and hopes to travel the world.
Marketing and Events Coordinator
Alyssa Serignese is a Marketing and Events Coordinator working out of SOLitude’s Virginia Beach, VA office. Alyssa is responsible for a variety of both administrative and creative projects, assisting the marketing department with trade show and event coordination, lead generation, website and inbound marketing tactics.
Alyssa graduated from West Virginia University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Marketing. During undergrad, Alyssa continued her studies in Northern Italy where she was able to submerse herself in the culture all while visiting and exploring 10 different countries. After college, she packed up and moved to Southwestern Colorado where she served as the Marketing Administrator for the Telluride Tourism Board and gained experience in digital marketing, website maintenance, advertising and print. She plans to continue her education and will receive her Masters in Marketing, specializing in Digital.
Alyssa hails from the Steel City, Pittsburgh, PA and has spent time in the mountains, but has always dreamt of being near the ocean. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach with her Australian Shepherd, Poncho, traveling the world, volunteering and jumping out of planes as a certified skydiver.
Mariah Pohl is a Communications Specialist at SOLitude Lake Management working out of the company’s Virginia Beach office. As part of the marketing team, she is responsible for executing the company's communication and public relations strategy, in addition to assisting with copywriting and special projects within the department. Mariah also works with media outlets and editors to highlight key projects and educational case studies from SOLitude's team of scientists, biologists and ecologists.
Mariah graduated from Centre College with a focus in Cultural Anthropology and Creative Writing. Throughout college, Mariah worked as Assistant Editor in Centre’s Office of Communications. She also participated in marketing internships with the Smithsonian, and a DC-based food magazine that promoted the slow food movement. Following school, she served as a content writer and managed strategic partnerships for an industrial fan company. Mariah helped the company establish relationships with television shows, nonprofits and environmentally conscious organizations seeking efficient, eco-friendly thermal comfort. Before joining SOLitude, Mariah worked for a burgeoning Virginia Beach news outlet. As a journalist, she profiled prominent community members, new businesses and events. Through her work, Mariah established connections with various groups across Southeastern Virginia and gained exceptional knowledge of the region.
Mariah hails from the Lexington, KY area where she grew up playing outside, camping, boating and taking regular hiking trips at the world-renowned Red River Gorge. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, taking bike rides, playing intramural sports and traveling to new cities.
Culture and Development Manager
Sharon has over twenty years of business and executive administration experience to include years working with chief officers at an Inc. 5000 company. She currently assists with streamlining executive initiatives involving organizational connectedness, department alignment, effective internal communication, company meeting and events, company perks, colleague engagement, and The SOLution Program, the company’s community outreach and volunteering program.
She is a valued resource to all colleagues and her "love for team" is exhibited daily with a high level of energy and commitment to company culture. She takes pride in her natural curiosity and enthusiasm for learning which allows her to quickly catch on to new concepts. Sharon has been successful using these traits to find efficiencies and create process improvements. Her adeptness with on the job training makes her a great addition to the SOLitude family.
Sharon calls Virginia Beach home and spends as much time as she can with her husband, three boys and two dogs. You can catch her most weekends on the pitch watching her twin boys play soccer or at the oceanfront riding bikes with her husband.
Culture and Development Assistant
Sarah Bevier is a Culture and Development Assistant who joined the SOLitude team in January 2019. She is responsible for cultivating a positive, tight-knit company culture through the development of internal programs, educational opportunities and charitable events. She is passionate about connecting individuals to volunteering opportunities and has always been drawn to organizations that promote environmental stewardship.
Sarah graduated from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI, with a Bachelor of Science in Public and Nonprofit Administration. Previously, she worked with a variety of nonprofits, including ACCESS College Foundation in Norfolk, VA as the Grants and Content Manager. At ACCESS, Sarah managed grant submissions, staff volunteering initiatives, and planned various donor events.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys reading, photography, staying active by playing soccer, and spending time outdoors with her dog, Charlie.
