Volunteer of the Quarter Sends Handwritten Greeting Cards to Hospitalized Children
Through SOLitude’s corporate volunteering and community outreach program, The SOLution, company leaders have named Customer Service Representative Raquel Mason of Pompano FL, the Volunteer of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2021. As an active member of The SOLution program since 2020, Raquel has used her passion for greeting card-making to help others feel celebrated.
Cards For Kidz
From January to March, Raquel and her mother collectively dedicated 114 hours to write over 250 handmade greeting cards for the organization Cardz For Kidz. The mission of the organization is to impact as many children, seniors, and families in hospitals as possible and help them take their minds off of their current situation by reminding them they are truly special. Her efforts to make others feel valued and appreciated do not go unnoticed.
The Bigger Picture
Raquel exemplifies the word selfless.
