This farm is a private property in the Charlottesville area. There are six waterbodies on the property that total 21 acres of water. The waterbodies are used for recreational fishing for friends and family and are being managed for trophy fishing.

Scope of Work

Trophy Fish Management: Consulting and monitoring services, electrofishing, rotenone applications, liming, bottom diffused aeration installation, water quality monitoring, vegetation and algae control, fish stocking, fish cover installation, spawning gravel installation, fertilizing, fish feeder installation, feeding fish, harvesting fish and improving fishing techniques.

Project Description

SOLitude Lake Management has served as a full-service lake management company, developing trophy fisheries utilizing the waterbodies located on the property. Game fish species being managed include largemouth bass, tiger muskie, channel catfish, bluegill, and rainbow trout. The ongoing management strategy has been to use all six waterbodies together to produce a truly exceptional trophy fishing experience for friends and family.
