Alan Hohman
District Manager
Alan Hohman is the District Manager for West Florida at Rentokil, bringing more than 25 years of management experience across multiple industries, including 22+ years with the Rentokil family. Originally from Central Pennsylvania, Alan leads the West Florida District with a focus on colleague and environmental safety, team development, and long-term customer retention. His goal is to make West Florida a best-in-class district. Outside of work, Alan enjoys time with his wife and two adult children. An avid conservationist and outdoorsman, he spends his free time hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, and relaxing at the beach.
Alex Johnson
Associate Project Manager (West FL)
Alex serves as Project Manager and Fisheries Biologist for West Florida, bringing more than a decade of experience in aquatic management. He has overseen a wide range of projects, including fish stockings, invasive fish removals, fisheries and habitat enhancements, water quality initiatives, nutrient management, and aquatic invasive species control. Alex partners with HOAs, CDDs, and private landowners to design and implement tailored strategies that help achieve long-term goals for their lakes and aquatic resources.
Originally from Arkansas, Alex earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology from Auburn University before relocating to Florida. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, fitness, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with his daughter.
Eric Carnall
Operations Manager, Fountains & Aeration (SWFL), Environmental Scientist
Eric Carnall is an Environmental Scientist and Operations Manager with more than a decade of experience developing sustainable solutions for aquatic ecosystems suffering from nuisance aquatic weeds and algae throughout central Florida and surrounding regions.
Eric is a licensed Aquatic Applicator and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Florida. He has helped lead a variety of notable projects, including a lake reclamation effort at Bahia Del Mar Lake. Eric and his team helped transform the eutrophic waterbody, which suffered from excessive nutrients, into a beautiful, thriving ecosystem once again. Additionally, Eric maintains a Florida Master Naturalist Certification, making him a valuable source of environmental knowledge for his peers and clients.
Aside from work, Eric can often be found enjoying the great outdoors. He enjoys kayaking, mountain biking, camping horticulture and doing CrossFit.
Kyle Miller
Account Manager, Aquatic Biologist
Kyle Miller is an Account Manager and Aquatic Biologist for the West Florida region. Kyle has been with SOLitude since 2019 and since then, he has gained an extensive amount of experience managing lakes and ponds in Florida. As an Account Manager, Kyle ensures his clients’ waterbodies are being maintained properly and that we are helping our clients reach the goals they have set for their waterbody.
Kyle and his wife reside in Florida. In his free time, Kyle likes to watch his favorite football team, the Lions!
Mike Eunson
Operations Manager, Aquatic Biologist
Mike is an Operations Manager and Aquatic Biologist for the West Florida region. He has been a part of the aquatics industry since 2018 and has developed the technical skills necessary to provide superior quality and service to our customers. Mike is highly experienced in diagnosing and treating algae, submersed and floating weeds, shoreline weeds, non-desirable buffer vegetation, and any other unwanted vegetation and managing water quality issues. He enjoys working with clients to help them achieve their ideal waterbody.
Mike Rhodes
Operations Manager, Wetlands (WFL), Aquatic Specialist
Mike serves as the Wetland Crew Foreman with SOLitude Lake Management’s Sarasota office. A lifelong Floridian, Mike brings deep knowledge of the local landscape and wetland ecosystems to his role. Since joining SOLitude in March 2009, he has played a key part in supporting wetland restoration and maintenance projects throughout the region.
With more than a decade of hands-on field experience, Mike takes pride in leading his team, ensuring high-quality results, and helping clients preserve healthy, thriving natural environments.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time outdoors and appreciating the natural Florida habitats he works to protect each day.
Mitchell Hartwig
Operations Manager, Aquatic Biologist
Mitchell is an Operations Manager and Aquatic Biologist in West Florida. As an Operations Manager, he ensures we are meeting our client’s expectations in a timely manner. Mitchell has over four years of experience maintaining lakes and ponds. He has completed hundreds of applications and performs regular water sampling services. Mitchell understands the importance of water quality within Florida which is why he works hard to develop effective and sustainable strategies for his client’s lakes, ponds, and wetlands.
Mitchell graduated from the University of Tampa with a double major in Marine Science and Biology. From there he went on to work as a Crab Observer taking biological surveys in the Bering
Sea for two fishing trips.
Mitchell grew up in the Chicago area where he developed his passion for nature and wildlife. He enjoys spending time with his loved ones, working out, and working on at-home projects.
Scott LaBallister
Operations Manager, Aquatic Specialist
Scott LaBallister is an Operations Manager and Aquatic Specialist in West Florida. As an Operations Manager, Scott helps ensure our clients receive timely and proper lake and pond maintenance. He specializes in assessing lake water samples and providing recommendations for ways lake and pond owners or managers can enhance their waterbody. He regularly meets with clients to ensure we are exceeding the goals they have set for their lake or pond.
Scott was born and raised in Texas and later moved out of state to Florida where he enjoys the beach and pool life! In his free time, Scott likes to bake, cook, and play tennis.
Jason Diogo
Business Development Consultant (West Central FL)
Jason Diogo currently serves as a Business Development Consultant for the Central Florida region at SOLitude Lake Management. Since joining the team in 2014 as an Aquatic Specialist, Jason has become well-acquainted with the diverse aquatic landscapes of Florida. While he takes pride in assisting clients in achieving their lakes and ponds’ aesthetic and functional goals, Jason’s unwavering commitment extends even further.
With a bachelor’s degree in Natural Science from University of South Florida, Jason possesses a unique skill set that bridges the gap between understanding of ecological systems, commitment to environmental sustainability, and capable project management. His understanding of environmental and business realms enables him to provide comprehensive solutions that benefit not only the environment but also the clients’ objectives. As a Business Development Consultant, Jason seamlessly blends his technical knowledge with his dedication to exceptional customer service.
Originally from Long Island, NY, Jason’s childhood was enriched by experiences on the water. Today, he continues to nurture his deep connection to the outdoors during his free time. Whether he’s embarking on outdoor travel, immersing himself in fishing adventures, or cherishing quality moments with his family, Jason finds solace and inspiration in the natural world.
Liz Rocque
Business Development Consultant, Environmental Scientist (West FL)
Liz Rocque is an Environmental Scientist and Business Development Consultant who helps property managers to identify their water quality problems and develop sustainable solutions for the long-term health and beauty of their lakes and waterways. She especially enjoys educating property managers about maintaining effective stormwater systems. Liz graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Policy. She is knowledgeable about algae identification, common aquatic plants and sustainable solutions to manage nuisance growth. Liz is very involved in the lake management industry. She received her Green Industries Best Management Practices certificate for the enhancement of Water Quality on Golf Courses and is on the Board of the Suncoast CISMA (Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area).
Rae King
Business Development Consultant (West FL)
Rae King is a Business Development Consultant within the West Florida District with extensive knowledge of Florida waterbodies. With previous experience as an Aquatic Specialist with SOLitude Lake Management, Rae is dedicated to the education and communication with clients to provide excellent service and appreciation for the vast and diverse ecosystem that Florida has to offer.
With a B.S. in Biology from Shenandoah University and a background in herbicidal and algicidal treatments, Rae has a deep understanding of the expertise needed to deliver superb results towards the goals of each client’s lake or pond health. As Rae prepares management options alongside her clients, she is committed not only to the growth of SOLitude, but also to the conservation of Florida’s aquatic environments.
