Aquatic Biologist and Regional Director
David Ellison is an aquatic biologist with the SOLitude Lake Management team who serves as the regional director for the south. He oversees many of SOLitude's large projects focusing on invasive species control, and has developed programs for Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge, Fisherman's Island Wildlife Refuge and Ft. Eustis, to name a few.
Dave is a certified pesticide applicator for turf, aquatics and public health in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Delaware, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is also a certified AquaMaster and Aqua Control Technician, a SePRO Preferred Applicator and a certified Stormwater Inspector. His participation in regular continuing education programs keeps his industry knowledge current with the latest technological trends.
Dave is a graduate of Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Prior to joining the SOLitude Lake Management team, Dave was employed as the assistant superintendent for an area golf course. During his years there, he was a licensed pesticide applicator for turfgrass. This experience, coupled with his education, make him a valuable and knowledgeable leader at SOLitude.
Like most of the SOLitude Lake Management team, Dave enjoys being outside and particularly enjoys the ocean. During his time off, you will often find Dave on the beach. He is an avid surfer, enjoys spending time with his family.
Environmental Scientist and Territory Leader
Brent Weber is an environmental scientist and territory leader in SOLitude’s Nashville office. Brent is passionate about restoring the natural balance of the varied ecosystems he services and is driven by his ability to have a direct impact on the environment
Brent graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Science and Technology with a concentration in Environment, coupled with a minor in Environmental Science. While at JMU, his studies and projects were focused on ecological conservation, sustainability, and the preservation of the Shenandoah Valley's natural resources, especially as they relate to water systems. Brent's senior thesis project involved the study and construction of a 425 square foot green roof on campus, and it still stands as a valuable learning resource for other students. As a student, Brent was active in the Environmental Management Club, and also volunteered with the Department of Agriculture's Natural Resource Conservation Service.
Brent is currently a licensed aquatic pesticide applicator in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware, a certified aquatic pesticide applicator in Tennessee, as well as an AquaMaster trained service technician, and a SePRO Preferred Applicator. Brent also is a licensed professional for maintaining public right-of-ways in Virginia. Prior to joining SOLitude, Brent worked in the landscaping and horticulture industries, and also as a groundsman for an arborist company.
Brent thoroughly enjoys photography and aims to snap quality pictures of the beautiful landscapes and lakes that he visits at every turn. He was been awarded by SePRO in their “Seeing is Believing” contest and also had pictures chosen for AquaMaster Fountain's calendar.
Brent grew up in Williamsburg, VA, and was always intrigued by water resources. Having been introduced to aquatic wildlife through fishing and boating at a young age, his interest in nature and aquatic ecology was sparked. As a lover of the outdoors, Brent enjoys snowboarding during winter months, beach-going in the summer, and hiking, camping, fishing, and playing basketball year-round.
Business Development Consultant
Jennifer Bonzani, Business Development Consultant, joined the SOLitude team in 2017. Jennifer is focused on helping expand the company’s national footprint by building relationships with business partners and new clients in Missouri, Kansas and Illinois.
Jennifer graduated from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining SOLitude, Jennifer worked for Aramark Refreshments for 10 years. At Aramark, she was able to grow and retain the company’s existing client base and transitioned on to new business where she exceeded her goals for new client development. She enjoyed learning the business from all aspects and was a top performer in each of her roles.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends. She enjoys traveling and new experiences. She looks forward to visiting the Lake of the Ozarks each summer. Jennifer is also a big animal lover and has two dogs of her own at home.
Clay Stabley is an aquatic specialist and works out of SOLitude’s Nashville, TN, office. Clay began his career in lake and pond management in Florida in 2005, where he managed complex systems of interconnected community lakes as well as high-end golf course community waterbodies. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to lake, pond and fisheries management, and enjoys educating both clients and newer team members on management best practices and industry trends.
Prior to working in lake and pond management, Clay served as a US Army Senior Operations Sergeant for 20 years and retired from Fort Campbell, KY 101st Airborne Division in 2005. Clay served in three combat tours of duty from the liberation of Kuwait, Afghanistan and Iraq. Throughout his military career, he attended Austin Peay State University for two years with studies in Business Management.
In his off time, Clay enjoys spending time with family, fishing Bass tournaments, trout fishing and playing guitar.
Regional Administrator and Client Relations
Carolyn Stabley is a highly accomplished administration professional working out of SOLitude’s Nashville, TN, office. She provides a broad range of administrative duties in assisting the SOLitude staff, as well as regional directors. Carolyn is one of our first points of contact for clients, and she prides herself on her superior customer service skills.
Carolyn has extensive administrative experience in a variety of fields, from the medical industry to the landscaping industry. She is an extremely organized and disciplined individual with a strong attention to detail. She was instilled these values while being raised as a military child, as both her mother and father served in the US Airforce. Carolyn took those values and challenged herself in becoming a fitness competitor. She was trained by an IFBB coach in bodybuilding and reached the title of a Professional Natural Figure Competitor. She now pushes herself daily to reach the next level.
On Carolyn’s off time, she is an avid health and fitness guru, and enjoys a strong workout at the gym and preparing healthy meals. She is also a new grandmother and loves spending time with her granddaughter, family, husband and friends.
