Regional Director: West and Northwest FL
Doug Agnew is an Environmental Scientist and Regional Director who oversees SOLitude's teams in Sarasota, Sun City, St. Petersburg, and Wesley Chapel. He focuses on developing his colleagues so they can reach their potential and make a difference for their clients. He is passionate about making a positive impact on the environment by rehabilitating, enhancing, and sustaining aquatic ecosystems.
Doug has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Marine Science from Stockton University. He joined the SOLitude team more than 33 years ago and has served in many roles across the company throughout that time.
Doug is from Pompton Lakes, NJ. He has been fascinated by marine biology since he was a kid.
Regional Sales Manager
Josh McGarry is a Regional Sales Manager who helps oversee business development efforts across SOLitude’s Sarasota and Sun City territories. He enjoys helping and educating clients, developing his team, and speaking at industry conferences. He is passionate about supporting his colleagues and being a good steward to the environment by restoring wetlands and waterways to a natural and healthy state.
Josh earned a Master Naturalist Certification from the University of Florida, and holds a Florida Green Best Management Practices certificate. He has more than 10 years of experience working with SOLitude.
Josh was born-and-raised in Aurora, NY, in the Finger Lakes region.
Business Development Consultant
Jimmy Taylor is a Business Development Consultant who helps clients who are experiencing water quality issues find sustainable solutions that enhance the health and value of their properties. He has extensive knowledge of Florida’s plant species and loves helping customers identify and manage them.
Jimmy is a born-and-raised Floridian who grew up in Miami. He has a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Marketing from Florida International University. He also has a Restricted Pesticide Applicator License.
Kevin Wilt is a District Manager who helps lead his local team of aquatic management professionals. He works with SOLitude’s many departments to coordinate local environmental projects, while prioritizing colleague safety and client satisfaction.
Kevin’s favorite part of his job is creating custom management plans that help community managers and property owners achieve their freshwater goals. He works as part of a team to devise environmentally sound plans that take a bottom-up, long-term approach.
Kevin has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in Food and Resource Economics. He joined the SOLitude team in 2013 after starting his career in production agriculture. He was born-and-raised in Valrico, FL.
Jason Diogo is a Service Manager and Aquatic Biologist who helps support SOLitude’s clients by keeping open lines of communication. He focuses on providing the services that exceed the goals of his clients while prioritizing the health and balance of aquatic ecosystems.
Jason earned his degree in Biology from the University of South Florida. He joined the SOLitude team in 2014.
In his free time, Jason enjoys fishing, hockey and motorcycles.
Senior Project Manager
Matt Kramer is a Senior Project Manager and Aquatic Biologist who helps lead teams across Florida. He is responsible for water and algae sampling, bathymetric mapping, midge fly/mosquito surveys, sport fisheries management and scientific surveys and reporting. Additionally, Matt helps lead lake restoration projects, aeration installations, wetland mitigation plantings and lake monitoring programs.
Matt earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Marine Science from the University of Tampa. His goal is to employ the most sustainable, ecological management methods available for achieving his client’s goals.
James Roehm is an Aquatic Biologist and Service Manager who helps oversee SOLitude’s team of local aquatic management professionals. He is passionate about communicating with clients and assisting them in any way possible.
James received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida. He has been a member of the SOLitude team for more than five years.
James was born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL. In his free time, he enjoys fishing. Likewise, he is the Vice President of Suncoast Tarpon Roundup, an educational and research-based nonprofit organization that hosts tarpon fishing tournaments.
Patrick Brophy is an Environmental Scientist and Account Representative with a diverse background in native plant and algae identification, wildlife removal, and biological monitoring in Florida. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of the natural world with colleagues and clients. Some of his favorite aspects of his role are working outside, problem solving, and building relationships with his local customers.
A native of Northern Virginia, Patrick first moved to Florida to attend Eckerd College, where he graduated in 2016 with a major in Environmental Studies and minors in Biology and Political Science.
Prior to joining the SOLitude team in 2017, Patrick spent a summer in Allegany State Park (NY), leading educational programs for park patrons on a wide array of topics.
Chris Cipollina is an Aquatic Biologist and Account Representative who focuses on establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with his clients, assisting customers with waterway maintenance, and conducting freshwater assessments and inspections. He is extremely knowledgeable about Florida’s unique flora and fauna and is a valuable resource for his colleagues and clients.
Chris earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies, Biology, and Coastal Management from Eckerd College. In addition, he holds a Restricted Use Pesticide license, which was earned by completing the Core and Aquatics tests through the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS). His courses were specific to the field of biology in Florida, including those relating to the different ecosystems and the state’s diverse wildlife.
Mike Eunson is an Aquatic Biologist who specializes in waterway maintenance. He helps clients identify and achieve their freshwater management goals and is experienced using many tools and technologies to ensure the health and aesthetics of the environment are prioritized throughout the process.
Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Florida Atlantic University. He joined the SOLitude team in June 2018.
Outside of work, he likes spending time outdoors fishing, hiking and enjoying time on the water.
Kyle Tyson is an Ecologist who joined the SOLitude team in October 2018. He specializes in maintaining healthy aquatic ecosystems and waterway conditions. He is a helpful resource for clients and regularly educates them about sustainable aquatic management strategies. He’s also knowledgeable about the various pieces of equipment used in the field and helps ensure they are in proper working order.
Kyle earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sustainability and Ecology from Arizona State University. He went on to work briefly in the agricultural industry. Kyle has a Pesticide Applicator License.
Kyle has many interests. He likes fast cars, big trucks, and fishing.
Alek Stomps-Pfeiffer is an Aquatic Biologist who specializes in the sustainable management of lakes, ponds and wetlands throughout West Florida. He regularly communicates with clients about their water resources and helps them develop custom solutions for the enhancement of aesthetics and water quality.
Alek has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Science from Eckerd College. He also has a Pesticide Applicator License. He joined the SOLitude team in August 2019.
In his free time, Alek enjoys boating, fishing and working on his car.
Thomas Yunko is an Assistant Service Manager and Environmental Scientist based out of SOLitude’s St. Petersburg, FL office. He specializes in the sustainable management of aquatic systems and serves as a knowledgeable and attentive resource for his clients. Thomas helps lead his local team of aquatic service technicians and believes strongly in the importance of safety and sustainability.
Thomas earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies from Eckerd College. He maintained a position at Eckerd for nine years before joining SOLitude in the fall of 2015.
In his free time, Thomas loves traveling and experiencing foreign cultures. He has visited 17 countries and 40 states. One day, he hopes to own a travel business. Thomas is a self-described history buff and enjoys reading about world history. He enjoys hiking and backpacks the Appalachian trail every year. He has also trekked the Incan Trail in Peru to Machu Picchu. When at home, Thomas can be found bowling, boating or completing home improvement projects.
Nick Margo is an Aquatic Biologist who utilizes sustainable management tools and practices to help clients achieve their freshwater management goals. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from William Paterson University. He also studied Business Management at New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he earned a second degree.
Prior to joining the SOLitude team in 2013, Nick gained experience studying dune grass as a researcher at William Paterson University.
Outside of work, Nick spends most of his time with his wife and son. They enjoy biking around downtown Tampa or in the woods of the Southeastern US.
Paul Dougherty is an Aquatic Biologist who regularly works with clients to identify their lake and pond management goals and design custom management plans to achieve them. He enjoys getting to know customers and takes pride in his active communication style.
Paul earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Biology from Christopher Newport University before joining the SOLitude team in 2018.
In his free time, Paul enjoys dabbling in aquaponics and attending grad school.
Alex Garcia is an Aquatic Specialist who supports clients by performing exotic plant management using proven technologies and practices. Alex is knowledgeable about the identification of undesirable species and plays a pivotal role in balancing the health and beauty of waterways and wetlands across Florida.
Alex joined the SOLitude team in August 2019. He is a licensed commercial pesticide applicator. In his free time, Alex enjoys being outside and working on vehicles in his shop.
James Lafave is an Aquatic Specialist who joined the SOLitude team in 2015. He focuses on providing consistent, environmentally-friendly services for clients and serves as a knowledgeable and experienced resource on all aspects of freshwater management. James takes pride in his regular communication with contacts and enjoys helping his customers identify and implement goals for their properties.
Outside of work, James likes gardening, tending to his aquarium, working on cars and spending time with friends.
Andrew Krecskay is an Aquatic Specialist who helps clients throughout West Florida meet their aquatic management goals. He specializes in providing aquatic weed and algae solutions and has extensive experience working in and around the water.
Andrew earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati. He went on to serve for nine years as a United States Infantryman, during which he completed two tours in OIF. He also worked in the cleaning and reclamation of the Bakken oilfield in North Dakota and spent time as a commercial diver responsible for maintaining water towers.
Andrew has many hobbies, including biking, golf, and kayaking. He’s also an avid hiker and completed the 2,200-mile Appalachian Trail in 2018.
