Scope of Work:
Lake Mapping, Electrofishing, and shoreline vegetation treatments were performed from 2012 to 2014.
Project Description:SOLitude Lake Management was selected to map and electrofish the lake in 2012. Bathymetric maps were supplied to the community and military base for analysis with the possibility of dredging in the future. Many people on the base and in the community utilize the lake for fishing and electrofishing was performed in 2012 to analyze the fish populations.
A report and recommendations were provided after the survey. Alligator weed growing along the shoreline of the military base area was treated in 2014 to prevent excessive growth seen in previous years. The treatment areas were mapped and a map was supplied to the military base.
