    Site Description:
    This 350-acre lake is surrounded by a private community. The lake is used for many recreational activities including boating, swimming and fishing.

    Assessing The Fishery Condition

    Scope of Work:
    Consulting services, electrofishing services, fish population estimates, developing a custom five year fisheries management plan, carrying out tasks from the five year management plan as necessary to ensure the client successfully improves their fishery.

    In recent years, the fishery has declined rapidly and the condition of the bass fishery has become very poor. SOLitude Lake Management was hired in the spring of 2014 as a consultant to assess the condition of fishery via a multiple day electrofishing study. Upon completing the study and presenting the findings, the lake representatives hired SOLitude Lake Management to develop a custom five year fisheries management plan designed to improve the health of the fishery. SOLitude Lake Management continues to provide consulting and services as the extensive five year plan is implemented.
