SOLitude Lake Management, an industry leader in lake and pond management, fisheries management and related environmental services for the United States, is pleased to announce that the company was ranked, once again, as the third largest distributor of AquaMaster Fountains and Aerators, both in the United States and internationally. Over the past several years, SOLitude has consistently maintained a position as one of the top three distributors in the world for AquaMaster, the industry leader in floating lake and pond fountain design and manufacturing. Several photos of SOLitude’s projects were also recognized in this year’s AquaMaster calendar, with one winning second place in the 2016 AquaMaster Calendar Contest.
As a lake and pond management industry leader, SOLitude works closely with their clients to select the best possible aeration system for each unique site, while offering installation, service and repair for all fountains and aerators that they sell. SOLitude and AquaMaster work together to ensure that the SOLitude team is properly trained and certified to service these fountains and aerators. Earlier this year, nine SOLitude employees attended a training course at the AquaMaster factory in Kiel, Wisconsin. During the four-day course, they received detailed training on AquaMaster motor service including motor diagnostics, oil and seal service and bearing replacement.
“AquaMaster and SOLitude have maintained a long-standing and mutually beneficial relationship," said Rudi Huber, Global Sales Manager at AquaMaster Fountains and Aerators. “We’re proud to have SOLitude not only as a top distributor, but also as a company that provides high quality installation and services for our fountains and aerators.” He also noted the importance of both companies striving to be good stewards of the environment by deploying sustainable and environmentally friendly water quality solutions.
Floating fountains and aerators not only add beauty, they add function. And the aeration and circulation they provide is an essential part of overall lake and pond management. Fountains and aerators increase the dissolved oxygen level to initiate a natural clean-up process and address water quality issues such as algae build up, aquatic weeds, bottom sludge, foul odors, insect infestation and water stagnation. Aeration is also a natural, environmentally-safe water quality management tool.
In the 2016 AquaMaster Calendar Contest, SOLitude employees were recognized for their stunning photos of waterscapes taken at lakes and ponds managed by the aquatics company. Kyle Finerfrock, Environmental Scientist, won second place for his beautiful photo of an AquaMaster Celestial Series Aries fountain in a pond in Suffolk, VA. Brent Weber, Environmental Scientist, and Derek Johnson, Lake Management Scientist, were both recognized for their photos of AquaMaster Masters Series Lakewood fountains in golf community ponds in Williamsburg, VA.
