September 15th, 2016
We’re pleased to introduce four talented individuals that joined the SOLitude earlier this year. Wildlife and Fisheries Scientists Daniel Hood and Jackson Minnich work with SOLitude’s clientele to provide sustainable solutions for lake, pond and fisheries management. Sallie Burns and Kelly Wilson joined the team as Regional Administrators to support client relations as our company continues to grow.
Daniel Hood, Wildlife and Fisheries Scientist, is based out of SOLitude’s Northern Virginia office. Daniel earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology from the University of South Carolina. He previously worked for the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources in West Columbia, South Carolina, where he served in various roles including Freshwater Fisheries Technician, Natural Resource Technician and Program Coordinator. At SOLitude Lake Management, Daniel works with clients in Northern Virginia and Maryland to provide a complete range of lake, pond and fisheries management solutions.
Jackson Minnich is a Wildlife and Fisheries Scientist at SOLitude Lake Management and serves clients in the southeast region. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science with a minor in Forestry at the University of Tennessee. Before joining SOLitude, Jackson worked for the Parks and Recreation Department in Knoxville, Tennessee. During this time he managed city-owned aquatic facilities, worked with youth programs and guided canoe trips on several East Tennessee rivers. At SOLitude, Jackson works directly with clients to help restore ecological balance to their waterbodies.
Sallie Burns is a regional administrator for SOLitude Lake Management and supports the southeast region out of SOLitude’s Raleigh, NC office. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Kent State University in Kent, OH. At SOLitude, Sallie performs an array of administrative duties to support leadership and staff. Her customer service and organizational skills, combined with her upbeat and friendly personality, make her a valued member of the SOLitude team.
Kelly Wilson is a regional administrator based out of SOLitude’s Georgetown, Delaware office. She is one of the first points of contact for our Mid-Atlantic clients, and assists staff with contract writing, proposals and scheduling. Prior to joining SOLitude, Kelly spent over ten years working with Kent Conservation District as an Urban Conservationist, where she performed stormwater inspections of residential and commercial practices in Kent County, Delaware. Her regulatory knowledge and industry experience, as well as her excellent communication skills, make her an asset to SOLitude and their clients.
SOLitude didn’t become the nation’s leading full-service lake and pond management company by accident. It is the hard work and dedication of our team members that makes what we do possible.
