Meet The Team: SOLitude’s Five News Aquatic Specialists In TX!
September 29th, 2016
We’re pleased to introduce five team members that joined our Texas office earlier this year. Aquatic service professionals Dylan Kwak, Alex Harrison, and Jessica Ferguson work directly with clients to help them achieve their desired lake, pond and fisheries management goals. Dustin Vassar, Business Development Consultant, is responsible for helping the team build relationships with clients in the region. Travis McCarver joins the team as Shop Foreman to ensure that all company equipment and vehicles are properly maintained.
Dylan Kwak, Wildlife and Fisheries Biologist, regularly works with clients throughout Texas to help control aquatic vegetation, maintain healthy fisheries populations, and conduct water and soil sampling. Dylan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Fish, Wildlife and Conservation Biology from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. Before joining the team at SOLitude, he worked with Colorado Parks and Wildlife as an Aquatic Database Technician.
Alex Harrison, Fisheries and Wildlife Specialist, provides clients with a broad range of lake and pond management services and has a particular focus on fisheries management, including fish stocking and fish habitat management. Alex earned his bachelor’s degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences with an emphasis in Fisheries Management from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining SOLitude, he conducted research at the Texas A&M Aquaculture Research and Teaching Facility.
Jessica Ferguson is an Aquatic Technician at SOLitude Lake Management. Jessica supports general operations and is often the first point of contact for clients. She also assists in the field to help provide sustainable lake, pond and fisheries management solutions. Jessica is currently working to complete her Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Texas A&M University.
Dustin Vassar is a Business Development Consultant at SOLitude Lake Management, and is responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients in the greater College Station area of Texas. Dustin is also focused on building new relationships with potential clients as SOLitude continues to expand their service offerings throughout the Texas Triangle—including Dallas, Ft. Worth, San Antonio, Houston, Austin and surrounding areas. Prior to joining SOLitude, Dustin worked as a Business Performance Advisor in Irving, Texas. He is originally from Arlington, Texas, and attended the University of Texas at Arlington where he studied Business Finance.
Travis McCarver, Shop Foreman, is responsible for maintaining the equipment necessary to complete day-to-day operations. His work helps to ensure that the aquatic and fisheries professionals at SOLitude have the tools necessary to complete their job in a timely and safe manner. Travis was raised in Hearne, Texas and attended nearby Texas A&M University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Rangeland Ecology and Management.
SOLitude didn’t become the nation’s leading full-service lake and pond management company by accident. It is the hard work and dedication of our team members that makes what we do possible.
