SOLitude is pleased to open a new office in Nashville to help better support clients in Tennessee and the surrounding states. The experienced SOLitude team in Nashville includes Brent Weber, Environmental Scientist, and Parker Hurst, Wildlife and Fisheries Biologist.

Brent Weber, who joined SOLitude in 2011, relocated from Virginia to Nashville to help support the needs of expanding clientele throughout Tennessee and surrounding areas. Brent earned his B.S. degree in Integrated Science and Technology with a concentration in Environment and a minor in Environmental Science from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He provides ecologically based water quality solutions for clients and also specializes in aquatic pesticide application. Brent is an AquaMaster trained service technician as well as a SePRO Preferred Applicator.

Before joining SOLitude, he was a Fisheries Research Technician with the University of Tennessee. His work in fresh water environment included restoring native fishes to local rivers, conducting stream health surveys and reintroducing lake sturgeon to the Tennessee River. Born and raised in Knoxville Tennessee, only miles from the headwaters of the Tennessee River, Parker developed a love for water and bass fishing early in his life that eventually led to fishing competitively on the University of Tennessee Bass Fishing Team. At SOLitude, he provides a complete range of lake, pond and fisheries management services for clients.

“We are extremely excited to open a new office in Tennessee as part of our continuing efforts to better support our clients in that area,” said Marc Bellaud, President of SOLitude Lake Management. “Brent and Parker are both dedicated and talented scientists, and I’m confident in their ability to provide our clients with sustainable solutions and outstanding customer service.”

Also, to meet the needs of a growing client base throughout South Carolina and Georgia, Steve Wilson, Aquatic and Fisheries Biologist, was relocated from SOLitude’s New York office in Oneonta, to manage the Charleston, SC office and service new and existing clientele throughout the region. Steve leads projects focusing on water quality restoration and invasive species control.

Steve also specializes in pesticide application and is a SePRO Preferred Applicator. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries Biology from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN. Prior to relocating to South Carolina with the SOLitude Lake Management team, Steve led our NY office and was responsible for managing all of the clients serviced by that office.

“We’re thrilled to have Steve join the team in Charleston,” said David Ellison, Regional Director for SOLitude’s Southern Region. “His knowledge and expertise in aquatic and fisheries management will further enhance SOLitude’s capacity to serve our growing client base throughout South Carolina and Georgia.”
