    Meet Nine Exceptional SOLs

    We're pleased to introduce nine talented individuals at SOLitude.  Scientists James Lacasse and Tyler Meighan provide SOLitude’s clientele with sustainable solutions for lake, pond and fisheries management. Kelly Orne leads Human Relations as the company continues to focus on adding new talent to their team. Shane Edwards, Duncan Mahnken, Mariah Pohl, Madison Miller, Brianna Scicluna and Amy Draudt will play integral roles in support of SOLitude’s marketing, sales and administrative initiatives.

    James Lacasse is an Environmental Scientist at SOLitude who regularly performs vegetation surveys to help identify nuisance aquatic plant species in lakes and ponds in the southern region of New England. As a licensed applicator, he focuses on improving water quality and manages invasive species that may be detrimental to surrounding ecosystems. James graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science.

Tyler promotes the growth of game fish by providing a variety of superior fisheries management services, including fish stocking, electrofishing, fish cover enhancement, aeration installation and water quality management. Tyler earned his bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Conservation from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.

She works to link talent strategy to the business strategy at SOLitude, and ensures that the organization has the right talent, in the right place, at the right time. Kelly resides in Massachusetts where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts from Assumption College in Worcester.

Shane is responsible for helping the team build relationships with new partners as well as maintaining already existing relationships with current clients throughout New York and New Jersey. Shane graduated from William Paterson University of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.

    Development Associate working out of SOLitude’s Newport News, VA office. Duncan helps create referral partnerships, develop relationships with clients in new markets and strives to provide excellent customer service through his attention to detail and focus on helping our clients achieve their goals. Duncan graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, VA.

    mariah-pohl-blog.jpgMariah Pohl is a Communications Specialist at SOLitude working out of the company’s Virginia Beach, VA office. As part of the marketing team, she is responsible for executing our communication and public relations strategy, in addition to assisting with copywriting and special projects within the department. She will be working with media outlets and editors to highlight key projects and educational case studies from our team of scientists, biologists and ecologists. Mariah graduated from Centre College with a focus in Cultural Anthropology and Creative Writing.

Madison is responsible for all marketing administrative work required to support our expanding team of business development consultants. She focuses much of her attention on helping to nurture prospects and obtain new, longtime clients, while also working on many other special projects. She graduated from Longwood University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a concentration in Public Relations and Organizational Communications.

She provides excellent customer service to each and every client she works with and considers herself a specialist in operations management. She works closely with our CEO and spends much of her time ensuring all of the needs of our team are met. Brianna is currently earning her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA.

She brings many years of experience in all areas of accounting and payroll. At SOLitude, she is responsible for providing office support in the day-to-day operations of the business, including processing service contracts and orders, purchasing, licensing and much more. Amy attended Kingsborough Community College in New York City.
