SOLitude Hires Two Scientists & One Business Development Professional

SOLitude Lake Management, an industry leader in lake and pond management, fisheries management and related environmental services for the Eastern United States, is pleased to welcome Jason Luce, Trent Nelson, and Shane Thomas.

Jason_Luce_10.2014_web_bio_picJason Luce is a Lake Management Scientist, Fisheries & Wildlife Scientist and North American Lake Management Society accredited Certified Lake Manager candidate. Jason received one of the first Master of Science degrees in Lake Management from SUNY Oneonta, along with recent SOLitude hire, Derek Johnson. Jason also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Cazenovia College in Upstate New York. He will be primarily servicing clients throughout SOLitude’s Northern territory to include Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Trent_Nelson_10.2014_web_bio_picTrent Nelson is an Aquatic Specialist and brings 12 years of golf course industry knowledge through his experiences as an Assistant Superintendent. Trent holds a Bachelor of Science in Turfgrass Science, with a minor in Biological Sciences from North Carolina State University and is a certified pesticide applicator for aquatics, turf and ornamentals and public health, and a Certified Stormwater BMP Inspector. Trent will be servicing clients and helping to further expand SOLitude’s footprint throughout North and South Carolina.

Shane_Thomas_10.2014_web_bio_picShane Thomas is an Aquatic Specialist and will be responsible for developing new relationships for SOLitude, primarily throughout southeastern Virginia. Shane’s 16-year background in both corporate and non-profit settings provides a perspective that will be invaluable to the organization and clientele. Shane holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia.
